Dermal Filler

Hyaluronic acid filler used to restore volume, refine contours and soften defined lines, shaped conservatively around your natural features.

Dermal filler

What it is for

Dermal filler adds measured volume where it has naturally reduced with age, or refines a contour you would like to define more clearly. The aim is balance, not a changed look.

Dermal filler

It may help with

  • Reduced volume in the cheeks or midface
  • Defined nasolabial folds or marionette lines
  • A chin or jawline that you would like to define
  • Lips: hydration, balance or gentle definition

Dermal filler

How it works

A hyaluronic acid gel is placed precisely with a fine needle or cannula. The product attracts water and supports the area temporarily; it is metabolised by the body over time, and reversible if ever needed.

Suitability depends on skin quality, anatomy and medical history. A practitioner will explain what filler can and cannot do for your face before anything is decided.

May not be suitable when: Treatment may be advised against in pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infection in the area, certain autoimmune conditions, or a history of relevant allergies. These are confirmed at consultation.

Common questions

The approach at DNAesthetic is conservative: small, considered amounts shaped to your anatomy. You can and should discuss exactly how subtle you want the result before treatment.

No. Hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary and gradually metabolised by the body. Most last six to eighteen months, depending on the area and product used.
