Privacy policy

This policy explains what DNAesthetic ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We keep data collection to what is necessary to respond to you and arrange consultations.

01

What we collect

  • Details you give us in the consultation request form: name, email address, phone number, preferred language and contact method, your treatment goals and context notes, and the consents you select.
  • Details you give us in the contact form: name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry type and message.
  • Technical data handled by our hosting provider (Netlify) when you visit the site, such as IP address and basic request logs, used for security and reliability.

02

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry or consultation request. This is necessary for us to perform a contract with you (or take steps at your request before entering into one).
  • To confirm appointments and send related messages such as reminders, if you have asked us to.
  • Only with your separate consent: to send you occasional news and offers. You can withdraw this at any time by replying to any email or contacting us.

03

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and consultation records for as long as needed to respond to you, manage your appointments, and meet our legal obligations (for example, record-keeping that may apply to aesthetic treatments). After that we delete or anonymise them. Marketing messages stop immediately when you withdraw consent.

04

Who we share it with

  • Our hosting and form-handling provider, Netlify, which processes data on our behalf to run this site and deliver form submissions to us.
  • Professional or regulatory bodies where we are legally required to share information.
  • We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles beyond what you explicitly consent to.

05

International transfers

Our hosting provider may process some data in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on standard contractual protections approved by the UK and EU authorities. You can ask us for more detail at any time.

06

Your rights

  • Access: ask us what we hold about you.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete data where we have no continuing obligation to keep it.
  • Restriction or objection: limit or object to certain processing.
  • Data portability: receive your data in a structured form.
  • Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting processing that happened before.
  • Complaint: you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
